About Us
So who are we?
We are Mark and Sarah, working on living our best life and showing the world to our two amazing children. The four of us live full time in our RV, traveling the US, along with our two dogs. We also find races along the way, and run in beautiful places.
Our story begins in when we (Mark and Sarah) met in tenth grade, as a blind date to the Snowball winter dance and have been together ever since. Yep, we are high school sweethearts and it's the best!
After getting married and having our babies, we started a hobby farm. There were gardens, chickens, goats and more! This experience was wonderful and a lot of hard work. The kids were able to watch baby goats being born and chicks hatching from their eggs. Along with growing and harvesting our own food.
Sadly, our world was turned upside down by the unexpected loss of Sarah's Dad. While devastating, this began a mindset change on how short life is and how we needed to grab hold of life while we have it. In addition to Dave's death, we lost other family members that year, and saw others struggle with health issues. These events really taught us to begin saying "Yes" to life experiences.
And so began our travels out of state in our RV. We did a power trip to South Dakota and we were hooked! This lead to weekend and week long trips to places like Michigan, Texas, Louisiana, and Missouri.
At first when the idea of full time travel first came up, we couldn't wrap our heads around how it would work with our schedules. Then 2020 hit and shook up the world. While it was a very difficult time for so many, it actually gave us the opportunity to see that full time RV living was possible. So, in the fall of 2020 we pulled the kids out of public school and hit the road to homeschool and learn through hands on experiences.
We spent the entire winter on the road in our 26' camper. We loved it!!! Upon our return home, we decided to sell our home, most of our stuff and in April of 2021 we officially became a full time RV family.
A love for travel, adventures, and new experiences keeps us moving forward on the road, and embracing all this life has to offer. The quality time we get as a family and the experiences we have together are priceless.
